Learns to create and write short sentences with a focus on punctuation and vocabulary. Antonyms, synonyms, spelling, and pronunciation are also emphasized here. Young one of animals, matching words with pictures and more.
Grammar: Adjectives describing size, shape, age, colour, origin, material, purpose, feelings, condition, and personality. Prepositions, nouns, pronouns emphasizing his/her/, he/she, it and other pronouns like this/that, here/there, these/those etc. are introduced and explored more. Singular, plural, verbs, conjunction, adverbs etc is also introduced here
Reading: Reading short comprehension passages and poems, understand and answering the questions given, learns to identify characters and the correct sequency of a story. Explores more by making his or her opinion and ask characters related questions. Listens to short texts and articles from newspaper and other sources.
Writing: Writing short sentences in response to poems and stories, forming short sentences with the correct use of grammar and punctuation. Drawing a picture based on instructions given.
Phonics: Pronunciation of words phonetically can also be taught which is very useful at this stage.
